Arka Gdynia lost another away match, falling 2-1 to Pogoń Siedlce. This defeat marks their fourth consecutive league loss on the road and is almost certainly the final game for coach Marek Jarolim at the club.

The hosts dominated from the start. In the 39th minute, former Arka player Maciej Rosołek capitalised on a defensive error to open the scoring. Only after conceding did Arka wake up. Just before halftime, Konrad Gruszkowski equalised with a beautiful long-range strike.

After the break, the visitors created several good chances. Substitute Kuba Solecki came close to scoring. They failed to capitalise, however. In the 71st minute, Szymon Kobusiński, left unmarked in the box, sealed the 2-1 victory for Pogoń. After that goal, Arka posed no further threat.

The Away Crisis Continues

This loss extends Arka's dreadful away record. This season, after an opening win in Opole, the team has lost four consecutive matches on the road. In total, across their last 22 away league games, including last season in the Ekstraklasa, Arka Gdynia have won only twice. This statistic is the primary cause of the club board's dissatisfaction.

The future of coach Marek Jarolim appears sealed. Even before the match in Siedlce, it was suggested the Czech could lose his job regardless of the result. The poor performances and lack of points at the start of the I liga season will most likely be the final straw. A decision is expected in the coming days during the ongoing international break.

For Arka, this is another blow following relegation from the top flight. Despite a change of coach and significant squad overhaul, the problems playing away from home have remained identical. The team needs an immediate spark to climb the table. The current standings show the Gdynia side must find form quickly. Their next test will be a home fixture, and the full schedule is available in our fixtures list.

Konrad Gruszkowski and Szymon Lewkot received yellow cards for Arka in the match against Pogoń. Coach Jarolim did not publicly comment on his situation after the final whistle.
