The Tricity Derby featuring Arka Gdynia is heading for a sell-out. Only around five thousand tickets remain for the match against Lechia Gdańsk scheduled for October 26.

The Gdańsk-based club confirmed that the majority of seats at the stadium on Traugutta Street have already been sold. The remaining batch is the last chance for fans of both teams to see the clash live, indicating the huge interest this rivalry always generates.

League context

Arka Gdynia approach the derby period with mixed form. The team sits 12th in the I Liga table with 11 points from nine matches. Their last five games show a record of two wins, one draw, and two defeats. Just before facing Lechia, the Yellow-Blues will host Polonia Warszawa on October 10.

The derby is always a special event for fans and players. Arka's manager, Mirosław Chodakowski, has previously emphasised the importance of such an atmosphere. "These are the matches that drive the whole season," the coach said. His team will want to use the crowd's support to improve their league position, especially as they trail leaders Pogoń Grod. Mazowiecki by seven points.

Arka's latest result, a 3-2 win over IFK Göteborg, offers hope for better league performances. Maintaining offensive efficiency while tightening a defence that has conceded 11 goals this season will be key. Before the decisive clash with Lechia, the squad has more time to work on tactics. Fans who manage to secure the final tickets will witness one of the hottest fixtures of this autumn in the I Liga. The match will be played on Saturday, October 26.
