Arka Gdynia has appointed a new scouting director, Martin Pasieka. In June 2026, Pasieka started working at the club as a scouting director. Previously, he worked at the club as a scout for half a year. Currently, he will be responsible for developing senior scouting. The construction of new structures is intended to streamline the scouting process and player analysis, as well as help minimize the risk of transfer errors. Tomasz Wichniarek, Arka Gdynia's sports director, said that Martin, with his experience and enthusiasm, will be the right person for this position. A few days before the official announcement of this nomination, Arka Gdynia's U-19 juniors secured promotion to the Central Junior League. The team, led by coach Robert Wilczyński, won 3:1 against Pogonia Szczecin and achieved promotion two rounds before the end of the season. Arka Gdynia is focusing on developing young players, and the new scouting director is expected to play a key role in this process. Martin Pasieka will be responsible for searching for new talents and cooperating with coaches to select the best players. The new scouting director also has experience working with young players, which can be very useful in developing Arka Gdynia's juniors. In the coming weeks, Pasieka will have to adapt to his new duties and cooperate with the entire coaching staff of Arka Gdynia. The club's management is counting on him to help discover new talents and strengthen the team. With Pasieka on board, Arka Gdynia is looking to improve its scouting and bring in fresh faces to the team.
