Arka Gdynia has lost its central defender, Julien Celestine. The Frenchman joined the team in February last year and helped the team promote to the PKO Ekstraklasa. Coach Dawid Szwarga put him in the starting lineup in the new season. Celestine had better games, but also very weak ones, which ended in high defeats. Arka is making changes to the squad during the winter to make the team more qualitative in the second round. The club is looking for reinforcements in the center of defense, so it was expected that someone would leave. That's why Celestine said goodbye to the club. The new defender in coach Szwarga's team will be Serafin Szota, who will be acquired from Śląsk Wrocław. The player has already joined the yellow-blues and must still undergo medical tests before signing the contract. Coach Szwarga would also like to loan Ariel Mosór from Raków Częstochowa, but the club from Gdynia must still wait for the final decision of the Polish vice-champions regarding this player. Arka Gdynia is close to reinforcing the position of central defender. Serafin Szota is an experienced player who can help the team in the fight to stay in the Ekstraklasa. Julien Celestine played in 15 games for Arka Gdynia and scored one goal. His departure is a consequence of poor performances in recent games. Arka Gdynia must now focus on finding new reinforcements to make the team more competitive in the second round.
