Arka Gdynia won against Piast Gliwice, but the victory did not come easily. Despite Piast having few points, they did not have to lose in Gliwice last week and in Gdynia now. In terms of personnel and quality, this is not a team that should be in the position they are in. We had a very good start. We pushed the players to play with a lot of energy and more directly in the first 10 minutes - said Dawid Szwarga, the coach of the yellow and blue team, after the match. The roles were reversed in the second half, when Piast clearly attacked. This is an element of football, where at some point one team dominates and the other has to defend. You can't control the game for 90 minutes. However, I admit that Piast's control lasted too long. The game definitely changed after the penalty kick. Piast got extra energy, and we wanted to survive too much. Piast played very directly into our penalty area. Every free kick, even on their half, ended with a long ball into our penalty area. From the game, the opponents did not create situations, but they took a lot of shots after set pieces. In the second half, we had 65 percent of accurate passes. That's not enough to counter or keep the ball under pressure - the Arka coach does not hide. Now, the coaching staff and the team have a difficult task ahead of them, to make Arka start winning away games as well. In seven matches, they have only scored one point. This is due to a number of factors. We introduced a few changes, and we are flying to Zabrze by plane for the next match. With Piast, we brought the victory thanks to how the players worked, but in Białystok, we played a better game with the ball. I hope that with our help, luck will turn around and on Sunday we will score points away - Dawid Szwarga concluded. Arka Gdynia now has time to prepare for the next match. Coach Dawid Szwarga will have to make tough decisions to get the team ready for the away game. Arka Gdynia fans can be satisfied with the result, but they know that there is still a lot of work ahead of the team. Arka Gdynia must now think about the next match and how to score points away.
