It seems that Arka Gdynia is preparing for significant changes at the start of the next season. According to „Przegląd Sportowy”, the new coach will be Czech Marek Jarolim, and the club will soon partner with Slavia Prague. The recently ended season ended in disappointment for Arka Gdynia. The team finished 17th in Ekstraklasa and returned to Betclic 1. Liga just a year later. Marek Jarolim is a former player of Viktorii Pilzno, Slavia Prague, and Slovan Liberec. He also played for a few months in Chinese HZ Greentown. He started his coaching career in the youth teams of Slavia, later worked independently in Vysocina Igława and MFK Karvina.
