It seems that Arka Gdynia is preparing for significant changes at the start of the next season. According to „Przegląd Sportowy”, the new coach will be Czech Marek Jarolim, and the club will soon partner with Slavia Prague. The recently ended season ended in disappointment for Arka Gdynia. The team finished 17th in Ekstraklasa and returned to Betclic 1. Liga just a year later. Marek Jarolim is a former player of Viktorii Pilzno, Slavia Prague, and Slovan Liberec. He also played for a few months in Chinese HZ Greentown. He started his coaching career in the youth teams of Slavia, later worked independently in Vysocina Igława and MFK Karvina. It was the team from Karvina that had a strong partnership with Slavia Prague in recent years. However, after the Czech betting scandal, the club from the capital is looking for a new partner. According to Rudynka, it may be Arka. „If everything is completed, Arka fans should have reasons to be satisfied. The club will gain a very solid and wealthy partner. It's not even about the budget or sports results, but the entire know-how about how a professional football club should function. And when can it be completed? Some sources say it's a matter of days. The Czech ones say we need to wait a bit, but the matter is actually close to finalization” – we read on the Przegląd Sportowy website.
