Legia Warszawa has announced the contract extension of talented midfielder Jakub Żewłakow. The young player, who has had the opportunity to face rivals such as Arka Gdynia on the pitch, has committed to the club with an agreement valid until June 2030, marking a significant step in his career and for the future of the capital's team.

Żewłakow, a product of Legia Warszawa's academy, made his senior team debut in July 2024 in a cup match against Caernarfon Town F.C. To date, he has played 13 senior-level matches, showcasing his potential. His first appearance in the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa took place last August when Legia faced Wisła Płock.

Jakub's journey to the first team has been long and consistent. He joined the Legia Academy in 2013, systematically progressing through all junior levels up to the reserve team. This development path underscores the club's commitment to nurturing its own talents.

The player himself expressed satisfaction with the contract extension. – I view this contract extension as a continuation of the club's trust in my abilities. I feel very good at Legia, it's my home, and I hope that for all the good things that have happened to me here, I will have the opportunity to repay on the pitch – said Jakub Żewłakow, emphasizing his dedication to Legia Warszawa.

The new contract until 2030 indicates Legia's long-term plans for Żewłakow. The offensive midfielder has the chance to become a key figure in the squad, continuing his development and contributing to the club's future successes both domestically and internationally.
